Care Attendants Training Programme 2017

Successful Care Attendants

QASA is very proud to have the support of the Road Safety Accident Fund that will enable us to deliver a Care Attendant Training Programme (CAT) to the care attendants of quadriplegics and paraplegics. This CAT will be rolled out, nationally, during 2017.

The aim is to up skill care attendants and ensure health and wellness for quadriplegics and paraplegics who rely on carers. Compassion, understanding and knowledge are essential traits of a care attendant and this Care Attendant Training Programme will allow QASA to develop the capacity of care attendants and empower them to be more knowledgeable about the risks of spinal cord injured.

The uniqueness of this programme is that it focuses on identification of risk areas and communication methods so that a strong rapore is developed between the care attendant and their client.

Should any care attendants of quadriplegics or paraplegics be interested to attend this training, please contact Mariza Kitching on
