Annual SABAT Wheelchair race is an incredible event and a unique one in that it is the only Power Wheelchair Race held in the world with quadriplegics powering their battery driven wheelchairs around a track for the honour of being the fastest quad around. 

QASA is proud of an ongoing relationship with SABAT Batteries who empower quadriplegics by supplying quadriplegics who use battery powered wheelchairs with a set of batteries every two years. Out of this relationship came the SABAT POWER WHEELCHAIR RACE.

Quadriplegics will line up on the grid to participate in this event. The chairs will be branded by various suppliers and these SABAT powered wheelchairs will battle it out to the finish line.
This is a wonderful opportunity for quadriplegics who use battery operated wheelchairs to re-
generate their adrenalin, and test their track skills.  Most of the entrants have very little or no use of their arms and hands and here is an event which allows them the chance to compete and go for glory.  

Not only will this event belong to them but also show the public on the day, their full
